 Plan for my research

Primary research:

  • - Primary research will be challenging, mainly focusing on secondary research.

Secondary research:

  • -  Read up on different articles, older articles and new.
  • - Check on official sources like formula1.com
  • - Look at independent sources and see if their opinion differs.
  • - Compare the different results of all the sources.
  • - Keep reviewing the research and analyse data.
  • After the initial stages of my research I will put together a more thorough and time focused plan





The repetition is due to using Mondays and the software having a subscription charge to delete tasks.
PLEASE NOTE: 

July:

  • Research the history of drivers between 1970-1980 
  • Update plan and make sure there are no errors
  • Check for errors and mistakes in research blogs.
  • Summer break so not much work expected. Along with Mock Exams and Work Experience.

September:

  • Focus on finalising research 
  • Discuss and plan a source analysis
  • Read up on new articles that have been added up since the summer break
  • Organise the blogger and check over work thoroughly
  • Make sure the plan is up to date.
  • Compare different sources
  • Research more from original source about key information.



 October:

  • Make sure plan is up to date.
  • Check sources and see if any new articles have been added
  • Add more screenshots and information to my research tabs

Plan till Christmas

 November:

  • Mid point review complete, discuss and update
  • Finish work on How Williams started up in depth.
  • Explore news on new teams trying to start up, e.g Andretti racing and the ownership changing.
  • Explore some new sources for research.
  • Finish up the formula one FIA rules on entering formula one (May be hard to find a official source with the official documents, struggling with third party adaptation)
  • Williams Formula One team news and update the blogs.
  • Update all the current blogs and check over.
  • Formula One driver and Race entry fees.


December:

  • Evaluate the Month of November
  • Update all the blogs and analysis 
  • Review all the blogs
  • Prepare the blogs and make it clear 
  • Taking into consideration the Mock exams that will be taking place, EPQ may be put aside.
December 3rd, Starting planning the Dissertation.
  • Writing the end first and focusing on the abstract. 

December 20th, Christmas Break Half-term
  
January 7th, Back from Christmas Break

January:

  • Start writing dissertation

First time in the championship was at the 1969 Spanish GP, running a Brabham BT26A with a 3.0 litre Ford Cosworth V8 Engine.
