Will another team like Williams occur again in formula one?

How likely is it for another Team like Williams to occur again? When considering formula one and the teams there is a lot of money involved. Williams is a very prestigious team in the motor racing world. A very successful team that has won many championships. Currently Formula One ahs 10 teams and 20 drivers, Williams being one of the midfield teams after the 2012 regulation change.  Williams was a team that started out of a carpet factory, they had a rocky start to the sport in the first couple of years and then after the 1980s they were contending for the championship. During the 1980 season, Williams had the Australian Driver, Alan Jones, behind the wheel. Having a amazing season Jones brought it home to give Williams there first taste of victory, having secured both the Constructors and Drivers Championship by a comfortable margin. Williams beating the likes of Ligier, Brabham and Renault, Leading the constructors championship by over 50 points.     When lo...

First time in the championship was at the 1969 Spanish GP, running a Brabham BT26A with a 3.0 litre Ford Cosworth V8 Engine. This care was a Privateer Entries, this means the car was bought from a supplier rather than constructed, this is how Frank Williams first got a team onto the Formula One grid. The driver for the 1969 Spanish GP was Piers Courage, who had a start-stop formula one career and also did some junior championship running in Frank' formula two and Tasman Series entries.  Although the Spanish GP ended with a engine failure on Lap 18, Piers Courage advanced 9 positions to take p2 in the 1969 Monaco GP two weeks later, proudly announcing the Frank Williams name into the sport. Joining F1 in 2024/2025

Andretti Formula one rejected entry What have I learned from this article? During the beginning of 2024, Andretti Motorsport and GMC Cadillac joined forces and put a bid to enter formula one. Andretti motorsport was founded by Mario Andretti (1978 Formula One World Champion) and with his son Michael Andretti ( Raced for McLaren in 1993 and more famous for his Champ Car Career). https://www.espn.co.uk/racing/story/_/id/39430557/why-f1-rejected-andretti-bid-join-grid-2025-2026 The primary reason Andretti got rejected from formula One was due to the rival teams arguing that Andretti's arrival would dilute the prize given to each team from Formula Ones revenue. Even when considering the £200 Million anti-dilution entry fee that Andretti would pay on entry to the sport, teams complained saying the £200 Million was not enough to compensate the loss from each team. The issues of prize-fund dilution and the anti-dilution fee were not mentioned in the official formula one rejection as rejec...

EPQ Plan

Plan for my research Primary research: - Primary research will be challenging, mainly focusing on secondary research. Secondary research: -  Read up on different articles, older articles and new. - Check on official sources like formula1.com - Look at independent sources and see if their opinion differs. - Compare the different results of all the sources. - Keep reviewing the research and analyse data. After the initial stages of my research I will put together a more thorough and time focused plan The repetition is due to using Mondays and the software having a subscription charge to delete tasks. PLEASE NOTE:

Source Analysis

Source Analysis The first Source is: https://www.the-race.com/ The Race is a Media Company that captures all motorsports. This includes Nascar, british gt, formula 1,2,3 and 4 etc. The race have both a YouTube channel and also a website. There information can be biased based on the reporter. Overall they are mostly unbiased but some of the subjects talked about can lead to giving out a biased point and contradicting themselves. For example when talking about the current driver line up this year, they did a video on Logan Sargent. They said negatives about the young driver and then they also complemented him. Giving two different view points and leaving the conclusion a very unbiased outcome.  This is the front page today of the website. It is a very formal site layout and displays current and correct sports news. Certain authors can be slightly more biased than others when complementing a drivers performance. A big example is when you look at how two different authors write a...
